Indian spirituality world consists of two important paths – the Vedic and the Tantric. Mandalas occupy a prominent place on both paths. The largest object in the sky, the sun is the source of light, heat, and life. It can also be a symbol of destructive power. Since the earliest times, people in all parts of the world have observed the position of the sun and its rising and setting throughout the year. People have also given the sun a major place in their mythologies, often as a deity.
Hence, the Sun has the characteristics of spreading light and energy to the universe. Likewise, a man also should implement the characteristics of the sun and spread happiness and joy around him.
