Ravi was Born and brought up in a small village called Kotegadde in Thirthalli taluk of Shimoga District, Karnataka.

He has come a long way in his artistic journey. After completing his basic education in his home town, he completed his BFA and MVA degree in DMS Lalitha Kala Maha Samsthana, Mysore.

He has been expressing his creative ideas through painting on canvas with acrylic/oil/mixed media and work on paper with Water color/pencil / charcoal etc., He likes to work with contemporary style.

Being extremely creative, Ravi has won wide acclaim for his perspectives blending traditional Indian themes with modern art formats, and sees his journey as a spiritual evolution. He dabbles with varied style of paintings as he is deeply interested in spirituality and Indian mythology. He also caters to art lovers who are interested in modern and contemporary paintings. His paintings are not only restricted to brushes, he also uses palette knives, blades and other things in creating his paintings.

Ravi displayed his works in various places inclucing Goa, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. He participated many state and national level artists camp including Thihar Art Fest, conducted by Lalit kala academy, New Delhi and Hampi Utsava, conducted by Karnataka Laithakala academy at Hampi,. Karnataka
Ravi recevied several felicitations and won the many awards including 47th annual exhibition award by Karnataka Lalitha kala academy, Governments of Karnataka.
