Description

Lotus forms an integral part of Indian culture and unfolds secret meanings. In Buddhism, the lotus is symbolic of a person’s purity of body, speech and mind.
The lotus is associated with the energy chakras of the body. The more number of petals that bloom represent the more number of energy chakras that are open. The highest form of chakra opening is the Sahasrara or crown chakra which is depicted by a lotus with 1000 petals.
According to our artist Ravi, the lotus is a symbol of enlightenment and we all have a lotus within us which we need to blossom.
